Translating to practise both English and Mandarin.
I was drawn to Chinese webnovels after watching cdrama Joy of Life (2019). So far so good, I enjoy most of the novels I come across, but I am often too impatient to wait, and sometimes the translation stopped.
I have basic Mandarin but not sufficient to read raws without dictionaries, so I am hoping to learn more by translating and at the same time I could share the joy of life reading with everyone here.
My dream is one day I’ll be able to read any raw and understand all the words, all the chengyu’s and all the cultural references.
English isn’t my native language either, so translating from Mandarin to English is 一举两得 !!
